Hello friends
I am a student and lover of wildlife all my life,but a greenhorn where photography is concerned.Picked up a bridge camera few months back with telelens (not sure if ready for SLR) and here I am to learn from indiawilds and hope to progress to DSLRs soon.

As suggested you can check the tips section and ask any questions. Also, while browsing the various images posted, you can ask why a particular aperture and shutter speed was used, reason for composing the image in a particular manner etc. Questions will also help the original poster think. At times honest questions from a newbie also helps.

I had been to California earlier this year. I was there for about a week, all of which was spent watching wildlife! :)

Hi Abhishek, I have travelled India number of times and spent countless hours in the wild. I live close to Yosemite. America is blessed with vast lands, abundant wildlife and well managed game department.
