Nice click and angle. I love the way the alternate colouring comes off and how the lower left scales of the hood look. However there seems to be a bit of chromatic abberation on the horizontal portion of the snake body. How did that happen?

Yes, the snake looks light. In the eastern part of the country you find them almost light brown (almost tending to dull yellow) compared to the darker hues you find in the western ghats. I have posted such a specimen in the next thread.
