The vertical composition is nice. The details on the wings and the colours look good. Is this some peculiar behaviour (mating?)? Thanks for sharing.
I like the vertical composition. I might pull back the contrast a bit. Thanks for sharing
Wow, lovely shot. Only wish the horizontal stalk at the bottom were absent. Otherwise a lovely shot.
A bit of info : In dragonflies, the male uses the claspers at the tip of his abdomen to grab the female by the back of the head (often against the will of the female). They then fly "in tandem" for a few minutes, and finally settle and form a position called the "cartwheel" (as in this image). They then mate, and the female lays eggs and dies soon after.
thanks Abhishek for valuable info.,i didn't know this.thank you very much.
Thanks for the valuable piece of information Abishek.
As Sabyasachi posted in some thread, if we look around in the wild, we get have so many gorgeous creatures to capture through the lens.
Nice. Without the stalk in the background, it would have been good. One good thing about photographing these creatures is that their lifecycle is very short. So one can document the entire lifecycle.
Cheers,
