this apparently earth worm looking organism was found resting on the dorsal surface(upper surface) of a leaf. close examination reveals a snout, if anyone has any idea about this?? shot with 5DIII with 100 mm macro, f/7.1, 1/200, flash & @ 100mm.

No idea what is this. I too will wait to hear about the id. There is so much to learn about our natural world that several lifetimes will not be enough.

Afraid I'm not sure what this is... Looks like some kind of annelid worm, related to earthworms. Can't be a caecilian as they aren't found on leaves. Nice find.
