Beautiful scene. I liked the composition, the colours and details. Why so high ISO? You forgot to change the settings :)? Thanks for sharing.
I had the 70-300mm lens which is pretty awful in low light and it was the crack of dawn...hence the high ISO...didn't want to take a chance

Nice scene.
Sharpness is dependent on how stable the camera is. So apart from high shutter speed, you can also get a sharp image if you place the camera on a stable support like bean bag, tripod or monopod. So you can experiment with that as well. If nothing is there, placing on another person's shoulder will also help. :) You may also check some of the sharpness tips in the tips section.
