Decided to have Flamingo sighting last to last week in protected area named Nalbana of Chilka lake and was welcomed by this spot billed Pelican in the beginning, later on spotted lot more in group and had Flamingo sighting too.
Canon 7D, Sigma 120-300 with 1.4 TC, F 5.6, 1.1250, ISO 100, 420 mm.
Nice image. Looks like immature. I like the bill with spots on the upper mandible.

Nice sighting. Agree with Roopak about the light, giving a slight -ve exposure compensation would have helped. The webbed feet can be seen clearly here. Look forward to more from Chilika. Thanks for sharing.
Good to see an image from Nalabana in Chilika lake. The whites are blown. The blacks also have lost details. There are two large dust spots visible. Looks like this is a large crop. Look forward to other images from Chilika. Thanks for sharing.
