Was fiddling around with the 300F4 at different distances and tried the macro end too. Took this at the minimum focussing distance ie 4.9 ft. Needed to crop a bit.
This is cropped (20% approx)
Canon EOS 1000D, Canon EF 300 F4L IS USM
SS 1/125
F 8
ISO 400

A good try indeed. Am particularly fond of macro photography as "small is beautiful" - Dr. Madhav Gadgil's mantra.

Nice shot. The BG blur is lovely. Photographing more from the left would have given you a more side-on image.
Look forward to more.

Thanks for the comment Abhishek. Chose this angle to get the light incidence on the dew drops on the wings. :) With a head on angle I would not have been able to capture that effectively. :)

Nice composition. Nice clean background. Agree with Abhishek, moving to the left would have given a better angle. Thanks for sharing.

I feel a slightly tighter crop (though I know you hate cropping :D) would help divert attention to the dewdrops.
BTW just noticed that you crossed 2000 posts... congrats :)

Hi Bibhav, Nice capture. clean background, and lovely colour tones make this image a beauty to watch.
I only feel that the crop is a bit tight. a little more space and including the branch on the left would have increased the artistic quotient of the image.
