Help on Chilika/Bhitarkanika

Im planning to visit my parents during Independence day (cuttack). Just wanted to check if this would be the right time to visit chilika or bhitarkanika as I dont want to lose the opportunity (now that i have the lens). If yes can i get some help in terms of guides or naturalists who can help and what should be my ideal itinerary?

Best time to visit Chilika or Bhitarakanika is in Winter (Nov-Dec).

Did you visit Chilika? One can find the resident birds during the offseason.

One needs to visit in peak winter. Last year I was there in the first week of december and the birds hadn't arrived in large numbers as the winter was yet to set in.

Sabyasachi sir, Im planning to go there during the last week of dec which i think should be fine. Would you know of any particular birding guide there who can help me out. I also intend to go to Bhitarkanika for birding during the same time.
