Tigress in sunset

Choti Madhu relaxes next to a waterhole bathed in the light of the setting sun .She seems to be taking some time off from her arduous duties of motherhood . .Her cubs are still hidden from prying eyes . This was shot from a considerable distance away .Nikon 850+200-500 ,1/1250s ,ISO1250, f/8 .Nov 2019 Tadoba .

She has an interesting name :). Is she named after her mother? Loved the light and the pose. Thanks for sharing.

Nice evening light. It becomes very difficult to get more details when the subject is far off. May be you will get to see her cubs in next trip. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the appreciation .She is the daughter of Madhuri hence the name .

We saw Madhuri during our trip to Tadoba.Nice to see her daughter here.Nice look on the face of the tigress in the evening.
