Indian fox scape |Bidar
Made a quick dash to bidar- the JLR blackbuck resort at vilaspur for the weekend. We had high hopes regarding sighting blackbuck, but ended up seeing them from very far, thanks to farmers chasing them as far away as possible. The plight of these creatures is really depressing. However, I came across this unexpected visitor during the morning drive. It was quite surprising that none of the 4 others in the jeep could even catch a glimpse of this cute animal although it was ran at full speed for a minute before settling down for a brief few seconds before taking off again disturbed by our presence.
Didn't have time to fiddle with any settings what so ever; the sighting lasted for a couple of minutes at the most and I was shooting against light :(

Nice sighting. It seems it was far off, but it good you could sight it and get a record image. They are very difficult to sight. Thanks for sharing.

It is good that you could sight this beautiful carnivore - well lesser carnivores as we term them. It would have been great if you had seen it close or if you had a longer telephoto.

Looks like you had some really interesting sightings Bhargava. Although you saw it from some distance I really like the compo. The layers of brown and green looks good and obviously the fox adds so much more. TFS (look forward to a trip to this place soon)

Rare to sight these, let alone photograph them. As a scape this looks good, I am not too bothered by the fox being small in the frame. Wish you had light from the right angle.
