Sighted in the Little Rann of Kutch early morning Jan 2018. The fastest bird on earth.Capable of speeds of up to 400 km h. This one seemed to have already had his breakfast as can be seen by the stains on his beak and claws. He would not let us closer than this. Nikon 7100+150-600 mm 1/1000 s F/8 ISO 220.
LRK is an amazing place to see these birds of prey in action. Lovely stare. Nice perch. Good details on its underparts. Thanks for sharing.
