Good to know that you saw this action. What was the shutter speed, aperture and ISO? A higher shutter speed would have been nice.
The area had light and shade and the head portion was in shadow. In such situations the auto focus can get fooled as it works primarily on the basis of contrast detection. So the focus has not locked on to the head but on the well lit area in the background. Thanks for sharing.
