For the mutual benefit
ID: Cocktail ants and Aphids
One of the well known examples of symbiotic relationships, these ants and aphids help each other to survive, rather the aphids quench the sugary thirst of the ants, while the ants protect the donors from the predators. Spotted underneath the bamboo's blade, these ants seemed to be busy feasting for the morning feed
Location: Nagla block

How do the the aphids quench the ants sugary thirst? Nice spotting and capture. Liked the details. Thanks for sharing.

They excret sugary drops on the hind side, probably when the ants probe or dabble on them
