Tiger Vomiting
Photographed in Bandhavgarh from elephant back. I think this cub had eaten something and was feeling sick. A record image as the elephant was moving a lot and all the people on the elephant back wanted to photograph this. After vomiting it felt better and moved away. Had not seen this before, so thought of sharing.
Canon 50D, 100-400mm L IS USM, 1/250, f7.1, ISO 400, hand held, full frame
comments and critiques welcome..

Tiger Cubs sometime eat in excess than the quantity it can actually digest and vomit to get relief.Or flesh from old kill eaten by them (if the mother is not present nearby) may cause this.Very Rare photograph. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Nice behavior documented. I agree with Saktipada. Also, if this isn't full-frame, could you try a vertical crop?

Nice Share. Vertical Frame can be tried I feel and bit of more sharpness..TFS

As I mentioned it is a full frame. Neil, I agree some more sharpness would have been good, but with the elephant moving and all the people on the elephant back struggling to photograph it was quite difficult. This is the best I could do in the situation. Thanks all for the comments.

The tiger is in shadow with the background lighted. That takes away some attention from this image. It is great that you could click the tiger vomiting. This is not an everyday sight. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice record. We can't get too critical here, as it is a very rare sight. Also, I don't think the cub would have liked to come out in the open or give you too many opportunities for a good shot :). You did well to capture it given the circumstances.

A rare sight and well done in the circumstances mentioned. Elephant back is one of the worst places i can think of as far as photography goes.
