The alien off the galaxy
ID: non biting midge
Several of these tiny beauties are seen along the window pane during the evenings and nights, almost resembling a mosquito, these beauties are really interesting when observed from a close distance. Always confused to mosquitoes, these harmless insects pose no harm but people tend to kill them due to its resemblence to the most dangerous and worst insect of insectdom.

The florescent colouring with the particles in the background gives the alien feeling :). I particularly liked the whiskars/tentacles kind of thing near its mouth. I think there is slight less details as you have clicked against the glass. Thanks for sharing.

Cool image. Agree that there is less details due to the glass and the DCR raynox etc. However, the overall image due to the effect looks very nice. Some sharpness by using tripod would have really helped. And slightly more space at the left to include the full leg would have been great. Thanks for sharing.
