Hi Udai,
There are positives and negatives about tight shots. In this shot, the teeth gets prominence. I cropped a bit from the left and also from the top to eliminate distracting portions.
It would have been good if the background would have been sufficiently diffused. It would have been good if the head would have been parallel to the image plane. Thanks for sharing.

I tried a pano crop. Check this one.
The pano crop is great, Sabyasachi. Thanks for the comments and suggestions. I wish there were more distance between the BG and the croc. That would have perhaps helped in getting a more blurred BG.

It helps if the background is atleast 5 feet behind the subject. Else it appears cluttered. In such a situation, it is better to change your position ie. move to your side so that you shoot from a different angle to avoid the distracting background or you try to increase your depth of field to get the background in focus.
