Dholes - Bandipur
These two dholes (cuon alpinus) were a part of a 28 member dhole pack. It was raining and the dholes chased and finished off a cheetal fawn within a few minutes. I heard the dying scream of the fawn but couldn't see it as it happend behind a clump of bamboos. After finishing off the fawn the dholes were back in the open. These guys were far off and I clicked as a record. This is a cropped image.

Lovely image, the playful dholes seem quite excited about the kill. Wish the light was good and you had a close range to shoot, this would surely have been a stunner.

Lovely interaction captured Sabyasachi. They sure seem healthy :)
If the dholes were a bit more to the right and not coinciding with the tree in the background it would have been better i guess. However one doesn't often have too much of time when one is clicking such interactions. Nicely done. Thanks for sharing.

Nice behaviour captured. The raindrops add to the composition. Agree good light would have made it stunning. Thanks for sharing.
