ID: Painted hand maiden moth

A frame of the mating pair of Painted hand maiden moths, that seemed to be perched on the common floss flower(Chromolaena odorata). While others seemed to be filling up on the moisture from the wet soil, that was left behind by the receding tide, these seemed busy copulating, higher off the ground, almost simultaneously basking onto the sun's rays.

The vertical composition works well here. The bright contrast colours of the moths help to stand out against the light background. Thanks for sharing.

This is a nice shot. Is this cropped? If so, then I would have loved a slightly wider shot. I would have loved a bit more sharpness as well.
