This is from long time ago. film days.
Near our farm used to be a small sacred grow of old Jamun trees . The trees had a lot of hollows which were the preferred nesting places of these parakeets.
I went to check after hearing a lot of commotion , and found that there was this rat snake high up in the tree systematically checking out each and every hollow. a pair of parakeets was giving it a tough fight.
Very interesting Vikram. We've all heard of this but this is the first picture I have seen. Any more from the series?

What happened then?
Since this is in the film era.... no more shots.
What happened next? well, nothing dramatic ... none of the hollows was occupied,yet the rat snake searched 4-5 hollows, the birds were constantly mobbing it.It finally got fed up and dropped to the ground and disappeared in the leaf litter.
