Attentive spotted Deer......Tholpetty

Very usual behaviour of a deer here.Becoming attentive and then going about its business.The time was around 5pm....

The positioning of two ears in different directions like rotating antenna is beautifully documented.Hearing is acute,Chital do listen for many sounds,intraspecific calls and alarm call of other animals or birds.Here the chital is neither using rolled eye nor a pointed glare. Nice behavior photographed. The repost looks better. There is some noise, is this a crop? You could have cropped a bit to remove the hint of legs or some more space at the bottom to include them in full would be good. Thanks for sharing.
