The flat beauty
Id: Long jawed orb weaver
Mostly seen along the water bodies(atleast that's what I have experienced), these beauties tend to blend well in the scenery due to its ability to hide away from plain sight due to the slender body structure, and as seen in the frame, usually it holds itself under the blades or leaves, with couple of legs sticking out. A pure beauty in extreme close up, they look pretty different when it isn't try to keep itself stuck and low profiled especially when those limbs are not stretched out

How did you spot it? Since it is lying flat it is easy to miss. The depth of field even at f13 is very less. How long it was there in the leaf? Thanks for sharing.

Requires minute observation to spot it. Anyone can mistake it for being a twig. Agree about the DoF. Nice capture. Thanks for sharing.
P.S - Some dust spots can be seen at the top part of the frame.
