One of the best spider encounter that I had experienced, this winter session, the massive beauty was completely mesmerizing and had several interesting details, including this one in frame. With a close up shot of the hind side of the spider, one can observe an intricate globe of web that the beast seem to have made ready, unsure if it has some purpose, probably for catching an unsuspected prey? Also can see how the hind set of limbs have hooked itself onto some web that has been attached to the twig on which it had taken refuge
