"Punchakkari" is a wetland about 7kms from Trivandrum city......Quite a no.of migratory birds arrive at this time...A few we could spot are Pied crested cuckoo,common stone chat(normally not found here),white ibis,bea eaters,pied kingfisher,wood sandpiper,green sandpiper,greeen shank,yellow wagtail,barn swallows etc.....

Agree with the previous comments. Good to hear about a new place. How big is that wetland? And how far from the road?
