bibhav one thing is to write repeatedly to the dfo...its a smallish place and she will be quite pleasantly surprised to see so much of serious interest in the sanctuary and she might be moved to...

personally for me the shot is too tight..i would have loved to see some more grass in the foreground or some landscape at the back..but it looks like...
According to the website the best time to visit is "Mar-May or Sep-Nov when the weather is favorable"

i think the lighting was a bit harsh and so the white around the eye and some portion of the beak has lost...

Also i think you could have increased the ISO to 200 so as to

this post is primarily for identification purpose..i find these pigeons in varying plumage with the regular flock of rock pigeons..this is the first time i am seeing this irregularity..kindly...
ya..there is substantial cropping in this image..i know i should be getting more
stability and sharpness during capture but i am simply not able to hold my cam still when using the lens at the 300mm...
