The good book revealed that it is the Yam Fly..
..and the most interesting thing was it's relationship with black ants..

Abhishek..the weeds are called Salvina..and they are quite a thick on the surface of the lake...seen on the edges mostly....ironically, it is because of the Salvina..that one can walk up ...quite...
this is from February of this year...
Spotted this Common Stonechat, at another wetland area here at Carambolim..the Dhado Wetlands is so much bigger than the Carambolim Lake..and is a swamp like...
nice one...especially the composition within the habitat..

It is recognized by the WWF too.

Till now, I haven't noticed any adverse effect of human habitation on these crocodiles..
Every summer..they show themselves at the same spot and live in the burrows...
