    Default Tigers of Tadoba#2

This is one of the Telia cubs, aged ~ 7 months, he looks sad and seems waiting for his mom, who apparently went on a hunt. The good news was that she made a kill next day and took all her 4 cubs to feed. I love the expressions by the cub here, but what a life this family must be having.
I Had opportunity to work on different compositions that included various focal length from 100-400mm, however this is shot using my 500mm.

Nice pose. Good that you found it on a rock without any branches obstructing its head. Wish there was some more space between the hind paw and the frame edge. Is the critical focus on the body as the face doesn't appear sharp. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to more.

    Cheers,

    Thanks for the comments

Sabyasachi the focus is on head region, I was struggling to fit the tiger in frame with 500mm

Sakti Ji pointed noted, no malice or remorse in forests, however as humans we have the natural tendency of making and narrating stories

Gajanan Ji this was shot at tank#2 and he is one the Telia cubs, I don't travel there frequently however I was told by Manish Varma our Naturalist that the cubs are aged ~7 months.

As far as processing in this image the top portion as well as the right side above the leg upwards seems to be dark. Is there any application of graduated filter/darkening during post processing?
