    Default Tigers of Tadoba#4

We were driving back from Jamun bodi and as we hit the main road, this was least expected. A female tiger was spotted on our left & she was resting, more Gypsy's gathered seeing this lovely lady. Gradually she walked ahead of us and suddenly on the middle of road we saw her stalking,oh boy had never seen such a pose before. This female tiger had spotted a wild boar on the other side.
She didn't care a damn to us and other Gypsy's around & went on about her business. From the opposite side we saw another Gypsy approaching and we made signs asking them to stop at a safe distance ensuring that she is not disturbed. The excitement began...more images to come soon, a lifetime sighting this

I wonder how the tigers always present thmselves in front of Praveenji!Where ever you go the tigers follow..........Nice pose and behaviour. The tarred road is an unwelcome addition but one cant help.

More the exciting images from Tadoba... more the anxiety and eagerness to visit ... Kindly advice whether the Reserve is open in the month of August and Is it a good time for sighting.. (Considering Chadrapur is one of the most hottest places in Maharashtra)

    Dear Hymakar,
Tadoba is open in the rains, however the movement of vehicles is restricted to the main mettalled road with the limit of 8 vehicles only.

I guess you need to wait for the park to reopen, Being restricted on the metalled road , when some sighting is happening just adjacent could be very frustrating.

    Cheers
    Dipankar
