The 5D III is good for still photographers. The AF has been greatly improved. The noise performance has also improved a lot. You will find it useful for landscapes due to the full frame sensor. With the 5D III you will be much more comfortable in getting those mountains in the frame. It will be a good buy.

Dear Sabyasachi,
Thank you for the suggestion. Now i have 24-105mm & i believe i may have to get 16-35mm as well. regards. kaling.
Dear Kaling,
I have put up the review of the 16-35. It is a good lens. However, since you have the 24-105, you can start clicking with that. 16mm would be really helpful in capturing those wide and lovely landscapes. I am still thinking when to visit those lovely places in Arunachal.
Cheers,
