    Default Dancing Mantis.

    Shadow Of Green Praying mantis on Leaf.. As I am Imagine, This gave me Nice shadow Like Telling me "See I am Dancing"..

    With canon 550D-100mm macro.

    F:9.0
    ISO:400
    Full frame
    handheld
    Little lose of sharpness due to unsteady leaf.

    Nice perspective. The shadow looks nice. The details are good. Just a thought, you could have lowered the camera a bit to get the bottom legs in full. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

    Nice one. More space at the bottom would have been better. How did you click. Were you physically holding the leaf?

    Sabyasachi, I was attracted to shadow first, then I realize it a mantis.. At that time my tripod leg was broken. so shot with handheld. due to wind, leaf was unsteady continuous. .. i have to physically touch the leaf from back side only for to stay calm.

    A nice attempt at a different perspective. Agree about including the legs, but it seems the conditions were not very favourable. I would try cropping out the hint of sky along the right margin.
