    This was captured during the Indiawilds meet at Kabini.

    Bit too close then I would have liked We got plenty of time to shoot this guy and he was kind enough to pose for us.

    Nice image. Agree it is a bit tight but this composition still works for me. Quite a different pose from the regular peacock images . Not sure but maybe you could have tried an extender on, and focussing manually, since the bird wasn't in a hurry..? (Just a thought)

    Thanks Abhishek, I did manually focus here. Don't have an extender with me yet. Looks like I need to get one.

    I guess you guys fired a thousand rounds from your cameras.

    It was a clean perch without any obstruction. How much I would love to watch a scene where a caracal jumps and catches a peacock. Perhaps one day.

    nice image..details are good..i too got the similar shots..agree with Sabyasachi..maybe a thousand shots were fired ..
