    Default Artena sp. moth

This had come to my house during the night. Captured under regular Tube light. No flash was used.

Used 30 secs shutter speed with 2 sec timer release.

It sat on the doormat for around 10 mins after which I picked it up and left it outside the house. It was pleasurable to see it fly in the fresh air.

Abhishek, looking forward towards your inputs for the ID.

    Please critique !

Artena sp. from the family Erebidae. Never seen one of these before... Lovely patterns on the wings. Interesting to see the use of extension tubes on a tele lens.
