Default Tusker caught in the act

This was during the IndiaWilds meet at Kabini. We got an opportunity to watch this big fellow walk towards water, drink and spray followed by poop and pee before if walked away.

Action unfolded quite far hence this is a large, crop by 70%.

Had shared an image of this big male spraying water http://indiawilds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10256

    Please critique !

This was way too far away. It is the power of technology, that due to increased resolution of the cameras, we are able to blow up and observe and document scenes. This tusker has got a nice pair of tusks. Unfortunately these days due to poaching, habitat loss, and loss of clean water and nutrition, we don't have those giant tuskers.

Couldnt agree more with Sabyasachi. Amazing what technology can do. Its also amazing how better technologically enhanced cameras can perform vis a viz the lesser ones. I cant see any noise at 70% crop at ISO 400 during the day, my-ex() Nikon D3100 would have cranked up. Nice image Atul. Thanks for sharing.
