    Default Crashing Surge

Shot this at Polem beach, Goa.
I was perched on a higher rock photographing waves crashing onto the rocks below, when one of them splashed up much higher than I had expected. This splash reached up almost 4 metres as I clicked. Was able to swing around quickly to save the camera, my backpack (with a waterproof cover) took the brunt of the splash.

    Canon 500D, 18-55mm IS
    FL 18mm
    SS 1/4000
    Av 9.0
    ISO 800
    EC -0.7
Slight vibrance boost. Slightly cropped to correct tilt.

    Thanks, C&C welcome.

Nice one. At times a wave can crash on you and the effect is very nice. The higher shutter speed has helped here. The few droplets on the wet rock becomes prominent due to the white on black. The depth of field is adequate. Thanks for sharing.

Nice one Abhishek. Agree the splash looks lovely. There's this place in Orange county,CA wherein the waves are always rough, popular for surfers.Your image reminded me of them . Thanks for sharing.
