A Very Very Special Tahr from Eravikulam NP.I believe all Tahrs are VVS and because of the conservation efforts they are surviving at least in some pockets of Western Ghats.I hope they will never retire from the long innings of their life......

Surely hope that the conservation effort helps to save this endangered species. The eye contact is nice. Some more space at the bottom would be good. Thanks for sharing.

The habitat of the tahrs are in danger. Unless we save the habitat, nothing much can be done. They are also killed by people and sold for their meat.
