    Default Smart & Handsome..... white brested King Fisher

    This was taken at Hazira, Surat. I was observing the bird bathing. Unfortunately could not manage even a single shot at the time bird was in water..
    500D with 400mm F/5.6

    Lovely perch and eye contact. The clean background adds to the composition. You can crop just a bit on the left to remove the hint of the branch(?) on the left frame. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

    Absolutly... I observed it in the morning.. I did the processing almost dozzing.... Lazy me....

    I agree that the hint of the branch at the left, if avoided, would make the image better. Overall the image has come out well.

    Nice image Prasad. The bg is nice and the details on the bird have come out well. I dont think wb kingfishers can ever be a boring subject . Thanks for sharing.
