    Default Malabar Hornbill Call

This was recorded with Canon AS540 compact camera in the video mode. Then using "RecordPad" software coverted into mp3 form. While recording I never saw the bird as it was thick forested area.

This was recorded near Suruli Waterfalls(Tamil Nadu),20 kms from Periyar Tiger Reserve(Thekkady)

Nice one. There are at least two hornbills audible. I have seen these birds moving around in mixed parties with Indian grey hornbills.

Good to hear this. It seems the vehicle engine was running. Another reason to ask the driver to switch off.

Sabyaji there was no vehicle running. This was close to 3 kms from the nearest vehicle!

This was very close to Suruli waterfalls and the camera seems to have recorded the sound of the falls.Somewhat resonable wind was blowing as well......

    Regards

Nice record, there is some noise in the recording may be due to the wind blowing. Thanks for sharing this.
