    Default Wardha-Chandrapur..... A small trip

Had a small family trip to Bor-Dam sanctuary & Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve.
Though couldn't see much at Tadoba, Trip to Bor Dam was very enjoying.
Its a nice Jungle with lots of mammals & birds as well.
This Sambar dear was probably equally curious as we were to see it in such close distance.

Nice image. Probing look. Large ears of Sambar with less hair inside are clear. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

P.S.: Bor is also being considered for declaring it as a Tiger Reserve.

Nice inquisitive pose. Some more space at the bottom of the frame would be nice as the legs appear to be cut off. You can use the focus recompose technique to reframe after using the AF point to acquire focus. I like the colours here. Thanks for sharing.

    Thanks for comments & suggestions
@ Sabhyashi Sir- Yes I am using this technique of focusing & recompose. Since the deer beeing so close & full frame I thought of leaving litle more place at top here.

@ Shakti Da- During the morning safari we herd very dark calls of monkeys assuring presence of big cat. but due to dense forest couldnt see the tiger.

Nice alert pose captured. The habitat displayed adds to the image. How is the rush? Thanks for sharing.

This being less known place, I was the only person to enjoy the safari that day. Also the safaries are not available. you have to arrange for your own vehicle. Guide is compalsory.

    Prasad,
If you can mention these things in a short write up in the Wilderness Updates section, then people will be able to easily find it and it will be of value.
    Cheers,
