    Nice. Is this a big crop ? Did you try a wider compo? the light seems good enough for a lower ISO and a narrower aperture as the bird seems stationary unless you were anticipating some action.

    I agree with Roopak. A lower shutter speed would suffice. For birding the 300 mm often falls short. Moving closer is not advisable as the bird gets tensed. Thanks for sharing.

    thanks and agree with the comments i was capturing birds in flight before this and did this one with the same settings
