Default Male Baya Weaver pealing of a strand

Male Baya Weaver pealing of a strand from a palm tree. Captured this from my balcony. It was pealing of strands only from a young leaf.

It was moving around from one palm tree to another.

Nice behavior captured. Seems it is collecting nesting material. Good details. Thanks for sharing.

Looks nice, its nice to know that you can see weavers from your balcony. Pune gives a lot of birding options even in the heart of the city. I was there a couple off weeks back and from my hotel window I could see minivets, black lored tits and a sunbird right in the middle of shivajinagar area. Thanks for sharing.

Nice behaviour. How much of a crop is this. The body appears a bit soft. Good to know that you saw this from your balcony. You are lucky.

    Cheers,
