Default White Eye @ ISO 1600

As I was shooting white eye under red berry's tree (under shadow) some part of tree have light and some have dark area. Result coming underexposed.

I have to increase ISO @ 1600 and also for increase sharpness.. but this birds are quite active. as in result I got some shot @ ISO 1600 with lights so totally overexposed. but actually I like this image, though technically is not correct.

    Need your Reviews.

    With canon 550D-Sigma 150-500mm
    F:6.3
    SS;1/400s
    ISO:1600
    AV Mode
    Handheld
    Medium Crop, Sharpen, Noise reduction.

    Thanks for Viewing.

Cute bird. Nice perch and eye contact. I feel you can try a vertical composition with less space on the left to avoid the bright area, than the present square composition. Did you give a +ve Exposure compensation? Thanks for sharing.

Exposure compensation is Neutral 0. I think due to harsh light on left side and Also ISO 1600 gives me bright light. thanks for suggest.

One needs to compose the scene so that the difference between brights and dark areas is not much. That is the skill a photographer has to acquire. These days photographers just blame the lack of dynamic range of the camera, but one can always pay attention to the scene before clicking.

Looking at the lack of details on the head and the size of the leaves, I guess this is a large crop. If you post the uncropped version of this photo for comparison then we can give proper suggestions. Thanks for sharing.

I like the inclusion of the branch on the top. The arch looks good. Thanks for sharing.
