House Sparrow - Mathur (Outskirts of North Chennai). We grew seeing this common bird next to us in our neighborhood and these days it is so difficult to spot them next to us.... hope things change

Absolutely, these chirpy little cute birds were a treat to watch and i remember we used to allow them to make their nests in the Garage, the motor room etc and actually made sure they were not disturbed. Sad that they are now hard to spot.

Nice composition, though there seems to be some loss of details due to the crop.

Nice to see a sparrow. Agree, we kind of grew up, with them around us in our house and garden. The new generation won't see them, as the sparrows have no space to build their houses in the concrete jungle. Nice eye contact, a lower angle if possible would have enhanced the composition further. Some more space at the right would be good. Thanks for sharing.
