Help me to plan to visit BTR and MTR

Hi,

I am planning to visit BTR and MTR this month or the next. Please share your experience and guidelines.

Information i am seeking- Safari timings, accommodation facilities and best time of visiting the park

Hi Vamshi,

By BTR and MTR you mean Bandipur and Madhumalai Tiger Reserves? In Bandipur i would recommend you to stay in Jungle Lodges and Resorts. The safaris are including in the accommodation cost. There is a morning 6am and afternoon 3.30pm safaris. You can check the site for more details.

For Madhumalai, there are number of resorts around. For Safari's there are gypsy which you can hire at the gate or the FD (bus) vehical takes you for a small safari. I have not been to Madhumalai for a long time so not aware of the present safari rules.
