    Default A golden evening

    Equipment: Nikon D300, Sigma 135-400mm f4.5-5.6
    EXIF: 1/2000 | f8 | ISO 200 | 400mm | No flash | Hand held
    Location: Hesaraghatta, Bangalore

    About the Shot:

This one gave me more satisfaction than any of my other shots so far. I had exactly the same scene in my mind and waited for the opportunity to get the same scene. I waited for almost 15 mins in position with the heavy camera/ lens (handheld) and finally got rewarded.

Experts comments/ suggestions are highly appreciated.

Lovely silhouette. Your patience paid off. Is that a indian roller taking off? I liked the composition. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

Concept is nice. The bird makes the image. Wish the bird had flown in 15 mins or before. Sun had already become hot. I would not advise to directly look through the viewfinder and a lens at focal length of 400mm or so as one can easily damage eyes.

    Cheers,
