    Default Nilgiri Tahr's Displeasure

The sun was beating down heavily even at Eravikulam NP near Munnar.Even the Tahrs were expressing their displeasure on the hot conditions....or so it seemed.....

Nice portrait. Eyes of the Nilgiri Thar are very emotive. It appears to me to be thirsty. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Nice pose. Good details. The composition looks fine. Is water condition bad there? Thanks for sharing.

I think it is posting for a Tooth brush advt. Jokes aside, how many did you sight there? Most of the times of the year, the place is misty. Looks like you had some clear blue skies this time? Did the image get overexposed? What time was this clicked? Thanks for sharing.

    Thanks for the comments.
Sabyaji we saw around 20 Nilgiri Tahrs(All females).Out of that one was a youngster.Iam not sure whether it was born during the last breeding season.

The time was 9AM!....But it felt like 1pm.Its real hot even at Munnar.Nights are more pleasant.Waterfalls have almost dried up.

    Regards
