Default Young fella at Eravikulam NP....Nilgiri Tahr

Quite a no.of young ones were added to the Nilgiri Tahr population at Eravikulam NP during the last breeding season. But the severe hot conditions must be troubling them as well......

Cute. Good to see a young Tahr. Lovely eye contact. What focal length were you using? It would have been good if you could have tried to include the mother fully or exclude her completely from the image, that would have strengthened the composition further. Thanks for sharing.

Superb image. Nice to know that the Nilgiri Thars are thriving. A success story as this park was specifically created for their preservation.

Young ones bring messages from the heaven. We should bless them,Tagore has taught us. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

The contrasty lighting is a bit tough. The bright rock in the background is attracting attention.

Nice to see the kid innocently looking at you. It doesn't know that in other areas these Tahr's are being killed for their meat. Is this a full frame or crop? Agree with Mrudul that including the mother would have been better or complete excluding her and just composing with the kid.
