    Wow lovely sighting of this rare species. The head on angle looks nice. The two front teeth nicely documented. Reducing the brightness a bit would be good. The low angle adds to the image. Nicely captured. I didn't sight this species during my trip to Ladhak . Look forward to see some amazing landscapes from Ladhak. Thanks for sharing.

    Rare sighting. Nice record.Tail is not seen here, only the shooter (with camera) can tell us whether it is Himalayan or long-tailed. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

    I remember sighting these on the way to Khardungla pass. The snow leopards prey on these marmots as well as on bharals and on the goats of villagers. Slightly less brightness would be good. Thanks for sharing. s
