A lovely subject. Since the Kingfisher is at a height on a wire and its back its towards you, the body and head is at an angle to you. This is not the best angle as the head and eye is away from you. You have done well in using a higher aperture, that gives you more depth of field. A bit of more head turn towards you would also have been better.
Is this a crop? I would like some more space at the right of the body as the kingfisher and the right frame are very close. Which lens are you using ? 70-300?
