    Default Flying Black Buck

    Hello everyone,

This pic was shot on our way back from Thengumarahada. Just before this male crossed the road, a few females just ran across. It was totally hot and dry in those areas, except near the river. I hope the summer rains have cooled down these places as little bit.

I did not use full focal length, as i was trying to manual focus witha a little less zoom. My AF motor broke, and didnt get it serviced. Now i started enjoying manual focus.

Lovely mid air pose captured. Good eye contact and composition. It does look quite quite hot and dry there. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely flight pose. It aptly describes the ability of the blackbuck.

During the pre digital era we used to use manual focus. And now for filming, it is manual focus.

Even when your autofocus is working, it is important to use manual focus to fine tune. A longer focal length would have been great here. Even the full 250mm would have been nice. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

Nice image of the flying buck Keerthy. You aptly froze it at the right moment. Agree that you could have zoomed in further. Thanks for sharing.
