    Nice sighting. The side on profile composition looks good. Good details and eye contact. Were they quite close? If possible moving just a bit more to the right would have enhanced the eye contact further. How many vultures were there? Thanks for sharing.

    Thanks Mrudul.
    There were 42 vultures and approximately 6 had flown away. There was chital stag kill by wild dogs. They were sitting around me for more than 1.5 hours as they finished off the remnants of the kill. These two were at a distance of about 20 feet. Did not dare to move since I was on the ground and feared they might fly away. Have more images.

    Pralay,
    Is this a crop or full frame image? I think it would be been good if you had used f8/f9 aperture here. That Sigma lens works well when stopped down by one stop. Also in this case, the depth of field is not sufficient to cover both the vultures. The vulture on the left seems to be closer to you, whereas the focus is on the other vulture. So the overall image looks soft. Thanks for sharing.
