Default Leopard after storm & Rain

This is one of my best images of this species so far. It was the eve of the Nilam strom at Kabini River Lodge Jlr, This was one of the unforgottable moments we had in that trip, it was around 5.45 pm, we were heading back to the resort after a disappointed safari with rain. Suddenly the driver said leopard, he saw something moving and it was the tail, it was almost dark. We spent 10 mins clicking this handsome new male. It was great challenge to make this image in low light. Thanks to Canon 400 mm 2.8 IS L USM

    Exif : Canon 7d + 400 2.8 IS L , F: 2.8, EV= 0, 1/10, ISO 640, Eval metering, Hand held.

Beautiful framing. Great eye contact and pose. The wet leaves frame the leopard well and give a nice feel of the monsoons. You did well even in such low shutter speed. Thanks for sharing.

Nice eye contact. It is good that the head is not obstructed by any leaves. It is alert watching the tourists.

Lovely image of the leopard. The wet leaves add to the composition. The left hind leg seems to have something in it which looks like a radio collar. Not sure though. Thanks for sharing.
